Two young golfers were recently playing hole #7 when a deer ran straight at them while they were on the green. The deer became startled when they saw the two young boys, slipped off the green and ran in toward lot 5. Shortly thereafter, the two young boys saw two timber wolves emerge from the forest. The young boys now knew why the deer were running in a panic and witnessed one of nature's finest moments.
The homesite for lot 8 is adjacent to River #7 fairway yet is separated from the fairway by dedicated open space and dense forest. You may find yourself walking to your neighbors to borrow 50 lbs of corn to feed the deer as opposed to borrowing a cup of sugar to make cookies for yourself.

For winter protection and warmth, the Ruffed Grouse often burrows itself under snow. If you were to flush the Grouse, it literally explodes from under the snow covering. This lot is explosive, as well. The sky, Lake Superior and the golf course seem as if to explode from whatever the season may be.
The Lady Slipper lot sits adjacent to green #4 on the River nine. Perched from one of the highest points of this hole the views from Lady Slipper stretch down this beautiful fairway while Lake Superior dances in the background.
The homesite for lot 2 will act much like a Sunflower. As the sun rises on the horizon of Lake Superior and follows the shoreline for much of the year, this homesite will enjoy the panoramic moods of the big lake all year long by following the rise and run of the sun like that of a Sunflower.
The wild Lupin flower recreates itself into many different and vibrant colors. Lot 3 will generate the same feeling with the deep green of the fairway during the summer, the fall colors, the white-blanketed fairway during the winter and the spring greens...all offset by the different hews of Lake Superior.
The wild thimbleberry is too often overlooked. When properly prepared, it makes for a wonderful jelly and jam. This homesite is adjacent to open space and has views across fairway #4. Like the thimbleberry, this lot has much to offer. The picture is taken from the fairway looking down toward the lot.
The picture shown here is taken from the fairway above lot 5 looking down toward the lot. You may want to set up a raspberry stand for the golfers for the wild raspberry bushes are a plenty. Open space guards both sides of this lot.
